The hallway chatter is exhausting because everyone is frustrated by the locked doors yet nothing moves. I have sent another round of emails to management today and I am still waiting for anything resembling a real answer.

Reaching this level of support confirms that I am not just complaining about a locked door. It is exhausting to fight for basic building access but seeing so many of you join in keeps me going.

This is so selfish. All of the people who use the pool will still use the elevators and common spaces that everyone needs to use, even if they avoid the pool, allowing for transmission and spread. We are in a pandemic. Actually think about other people than yourself.

Everyone else seems to figure out how to do this safely. You need to do the same. With my lease coming to a close soon, seriously considering re signing. Get it together.

AVA and other surrounding apartments have both gyms and pools open. This is crazy.

I'll read the paper from the pool when it opens. If you are that worried about covid (not saying that it shouldn't be taken seriously) then don't go up to the pool. Stay in your apartment.

Do not open the pool. Public pools are considered a medium risk activity for covid. Avalon needs to focus on keeping the building clean and preparing for a second wave. This petition is stupid and selfish. Our country is in the middle of a PANDEMIC and a civil rights movement! Anyone who cares that much about a POOL right now needs to read a newspaper and get a life.
