We at Crawford Oaks have been doing our part as a community to combat the Coronavirus. Our neighbors have been making masks for healthcare workers, delivering food and groceries to our elderly neighbors, and creating social distancing games for our kids. We understood that the gym and playground needed to be closed, and we respected the decisions that were made in regards to the pool. At this point, we have proven ourselves to be a community of responsible people, and we would now like our pool back.

The CDC has found no evidence of COVID-19 spreading through treated water in swimming pools. The U.S. Army’s high-level biosecurity laboratory at Fort Derrick, MD, conducted a study that showed the novel Coronavirus does not survive when exposed to ultraviolet light and warm and humid conditions. The weather is getting warmer, the pool is safer than shopping at Walmart, Target, Kroger or Home Depot.
