Parents, faculty, and students please consider signing this petition if you are in favor of JALSD opening the doors again and returning to full-time in person instruction. This might be the only voice we have, since the board continues to block the voices of opposition at the district board meetings. I plan on submitting this to board members and Mr. Chapman by the 14th ( The Next BOE meeting ).

The volume of support has now reached a scale that demands a formal response from the district leadership. I am currently finalizing the document package for submission to the board members and Mr. Chapman ahead of the upcoming meeting.

Our children need to be active in the school building learning! It's critical for their education and mental well being! These children are getting depressed and giving up on their schooling at this point! This is not healthy in any way shape or form!
Our children need to be in school and participating in their extra curricular activities for both their academic and social/mental well being.
Please consider opening the schools full time. Our kids need the social interaction, teachers and better education than online classes. JADA is extremely difficult and stressful. I want my kids to do better because classroom instruction is far better than teaching themselves!!
Virtual school though the teachers are doing their best is depressing, hard, and creating so many gaps for our kids education. My kids are struggling.
I’m for a full return to school for families that want to do so, there has to be a option for families to continue on remote if they so choose.

i want them to open my grandchildren are struggling both academically and emotionally. prayers that the board will make the best decision. for everyone.
