The emails I receive every night make the exhaustion worth it because I know I am not the only one struggling with this silence. I have been spending my evenings drafting formal requests to the district office to force a response. It is a slow and draining process but we are staying focused on the goal.

Reaching this point has been a long and draining climb. Seeing this level of momentum proves that families are ready for the district to finally act.

my daughter is 7years old and in first grade. She had autism so she is a special needs kid and this distance learning is very hard for her, she doesn't like it and what they do is a joke. The schools need to re open and stop hindering our kids.
Should be hybrid. If some want to stay home they may. If some want to go to school they may also. With technology today this should be possible.
My son needs to be back in school and getting the hands on interaction for his IEP. There are just some things that can not be taught on ZOOM... If daycares, and YMCA or Boys and Girls Club, sports etc can resume then so can school.
My kids needs to go back to school and have interactions with others than their family for their mental health and they need their teachers teaching them in person
My children need to go back to school. My middle school child is struggling with doing school at home.
PLEASE open the schools now!!

I want my child on school campus learning from her peers and teachers. I do not want her staring at Zoom videos all day. I request LUSD to re open campuses to their students. All grade levels.
