After months and months of the teachers’ voices being heard, it’s time to recognize the students’ desires. Rather than being relegated to a series of individual emails or one or two questions at a board meeting, please sign this petition in favor of a return to full time, in person learning for all Point Pleasant Borough students. All studies have shown that the school is not a point of transmission. For months, parents have demonstrated that we can be responsible and quarantine when necessary. Continued deprivation of the students’ right to free access to public education should not continue. This petition will be circulated and presented to Superintendent Smith in the coming days. Please sign and circulate to members of the community. Thank you

This has been going on for almost year. I have heard teachers over and over again take the easy way out.. which is not teaching our children. Athletics are in and academics are On hold. Shame for the teachers who are supposed to stand up and educate taking a back seat.

The damage being done to the mental health and well being of the children outweighs the potential risks of the virus.
