Oxnard Mayor, City Council, and City Manager we ask that you move forward with the park designs at the following locations:
1) Expansion of College Park: 3250 S. Rose Ave, Oxnard, CA 93033
2) Sports Park: 100-196 East Gonzalez Rd, Oxnard, CA 93030
3) Campus Park: 119 West 5th, Oxnard, CA 93030
Oxnard is the largest city in Ventura County and has the most youth and adult athletes, however we have inadequate and limited sport parks for the community. We ask that the city assign, task, and designate appropriate city department(s) and personnel responsibility to start and oversee the construction of these projects. The longer this takes, the longer the timelines for both bidding and construction-related costs will increase and there will be less money to build the sports parks in the city.

Pedimos que la ciudad asigne, de tarea, designe departamento (s) apropiados de la ciudad y de responsabilidad personal para iniciar y supervisar la construcción de estos proyectos. Cuanto más se tarden, los plazos de ofertas y costos de construcción aumentarán y habrá menos dinero para construir los parques deportivos en la ciudad.

I've been to a similar youth sports complex in a different county.. The participation was amazing... Speaking to coaches said leagues were profitable.. More kids would be willing to play it's more exciting.
I Also play adult softball and new fields would attract more teams from all over the area. Plus bring in a lot more money for the City of Oxnard
I don't play sports but I am active and like to exercise outside. We need more fresh air, green parks, gardens, trees, a better relationship with the earth and healthy activities for Oxnard instead of suffocating the earth with concrete, buildings and cars and staying indoors all the time. I believe this is more likely to decrease the crime rate.
I want to be able to create a cal ripping jr baseball league ...we currently play at Blackstock jr. High school....and there the kids at recess dig holes all over our fields we play on....I constantly have to fill the holes before practices and then to do it again before every game....thank u so much....james young.....any questions feel free to email or call ...8052406954
Soccer is the greatest sport in the world, this is for our youth, let's make it happen!! This sport kept me out of trouble and taught me discipline! We tend to spend tax money on other things that might not be necessary, to me this is a no brainer! He have to much talent not to expose it!!
WE NEED PARKS !! TOO BAD DROPPED BALL ON BIG LEAGUE DREAMS , Tax dollars missed!!

As a parent and coach of soccer players, i have seen first hand the poor and often dangerous fields our kids have to play on. Our kids need and deserve these three sports complexes.
