We need your support to collect 15,000 signatures by February in support of building a much needed soccer complex expansion in the region. It will create more field space and a safe haven for youth and adults in the community. Currently there are 5,000 youth soccer players in Salinas, 1,000 in the Monterey Peninsula, and 1,000 in other Monterey County areas. Please help us make this dream a reality, and get many more youth on to the soccer fields and off the streets. As a personal goal, I have set myself the goal of collecting 5,000 signatures. Help me reach my goal for this worthy cause. Our youth are our future, lets invest in them now, and reap the benefits later. The Salinas Regional Soccer Complex is a long term project to develop high quality soccer fields and programs in Salinas. That will provide a healthy and safe environment for youth to play soccer, develop life skills and choose positive and attractive alternatives to gangs and violence prevalent in Salinas and throught the county.  The project will greatly help in addressing the gross shortage of fields and parks in the greater Salinas Community.
