There are few AP classes offered to the freshmen and sophmore classes. Juniors and Seniors, on the other hand, are offered a plethora of AP classes. Arguably, it would be extremely advantageous to us, the incoming juniors and seniors, to have personal laptops -- for all academic purposes, especially for those enrolled in AP classes.

this makes no sense. seniors have way more work and need them for college apps and research. talk about unfair!!
