Our ipads arent worth 430, so to charge us that if we dont return them is unfair
our ipads are old and younger classman already got more current ipad models, leaving ours old.
Kids going to college wont have to buy a ipad or mac that cant afford it at the discount our school should give us for it.
last year kids got to buy theres for a small fee and next year they get to keep theirs, why not for us?
If our ipads are important to our learning ,the reason we got them, why are we loosing them before going to college, and what highschool prepares you for.
I have been reading your stories about how hard it is to lose these devices right before graduation. Watching my own friends struggle with these sudden costs is exactly why I started this fight and I am not backing down.

Seeing this kind of momentum confirms that I am not the only student frustrated by these unfair device policies. It feels incredible to know so many of you share my anger over being forced to turn in outdated equipment we could actually use for college.

Honestly, the school is being extremely unfair about our graduating class taking the ipads away. As stated before, in years past, kids got to keep their ipads with a small fee. SMALL fee! These ipads aren't even worth $430 in stores. These ipads aren't toy, remember? We have them for educational purposes, so why is D214 taking our learning privileges away??? College is expensive. Almost every college highly pushes for a laptop or ipad to have. So why take ours away? Its unfair and rude to our class. Get your act together D214

It's absolutely unfair that our old iPads will be taken away, while the next year class gets to keep theirs. A small reasonable but out price would be fine as welll

Would appreciate if I kept mine I really need it I can't afford to buy one and need an iPad irme Mac for college. Might as wee like just get my iPad for school so I don't worry about buying another one. Also I don't have any other device I don't have a phone and my iPad is how I go in my social media and keep in touch with my parents and friends. Will mean a lot if i got to keep mine as well as those who really want an iPad

We should be able to keep the iPads and the school won't have a good use for them they are super old a slow so the school is probably just gonna keep them under the desk so if they're not gonna use them we should

I really wonder what the school plans to do with these old iPads, we've had them for quite some time and incoming freshmen would get new ones, that and the fact that the "insurance" that the school provides us is $30 amongst at least 200 Seniors would build up to a decent amount of cash. I'll buy mine if I have to but I hope we really do keep them.
