As strong supporters of and advocates for the Nyack School District, we want to express our opposition to the Princeton Plan. We ask the Board of Education to consider the strong community opposition to the Princeton Plan this year and in the future. Our children get one chance at an exceptional elementary school experience and we chose the Nyack schools to provide that. Do not alienate your most valuable bottom line: the students.
Nyack/Valley Cottage residents believe the reconfiguring of our community elementary schools will have countless negative impacts on our students and our towns. We understand that we may be facing fiscal difficulty in the coming years, however, we feel very strongly that making such a significant change to the structure of elementary school education in is not in the best interest of our community in the short or long term.

Reaching this level of support has been a heavy, grounding experience for me. I am exhausted by this fight but seeing so many neighbors agree on the future of our schools keeps me standing.

My daughter walks to school every day and I love that she feels safe in our town. If you start splitting them up it changes everything.
TOTAL LACK OF COMMON SENSE. The board needs to listen to the people actually living in these towns instead of just looking at spreadsheets.
this is going to ruin the sense of community we have. why fix what isnt broken?? leave our schools alone.
Keep our neighborhood schools as they are. My kids love their school and I dont want them being bussed all over the place.
Ridiculous idea. You guys are alienating everyone who actually supports the district. Listen to the parents for once.
