As strong supporters of and advocates for the Hendrick Hudson School District, we want to express our opposition to the Princeton Plan. We ask the Board of Education to consider the strong community opposition to the Princeton Plan this year and in the future. Our children get one chance at an exceptional elementary school experience and we chose the Hendrick Hudson schools to provide that. Do not alienate your most valuable bottom line: the students.

Hendrick Hudson residents believe the reconfiguring of our community elementary schools will have countless negative impacts on our students and our towns. We understand that we may be facing fiscal difficulty in the coming years, however, we feel very strongly that making such a significant change to the structure of elementary school education is not in the best interest of our community in the short or long term.
