The state backed down and pulled the plug on these illegal permit renewal requirements. We refused to kneel before Albany bureaucrats and our defiance forced their retreat. Stay vigilant because they will look for another way to chip away at our rights.
We the Undersigned Gun Owners of
NY State, Hereby swear a solemn Oath to refuse to comply with the
unconstitutional Safe Act requirement to renew our existing CCW
Permits. We stand united with one another against this unnecessary,
burdensome, and expensive requirement that we have already met and
respected upon receipt of our original permits. We will support and
defend our 2nd Amendment Rights as One People.
The state government thinks they can keep grinding us down with these endless, unconstitutional permit schemes. This momentum proves they are wrong because we refuse to bend the knee to their bureaucratic overreach.

I'm not sure 10,000 signatures would make a difference in this state, but I'm willing to give it a try. Problem is, if this petition actually gets 10,000 signatures, how many of these will fold at the last minute anyway and do the deed to please the state and keep the heat off them? Cuomo has put the gun owners in this state in a very precarious position. Divide and conquer...that's the name of his game and he is winning. Gun owners need to wake up now!

To even go through the process is very expensive. Now you the Government of NY are making it harder for those that want protection with added cost. This needs to stop!

The safe act is unconstitutional. It does nothing to deter criminals , and only infringes on the rights of law abiding citizens.

This new program does nothing that isn't already being done at the local level. Also until state releases court ordered FOIA request stay out of our business.

In the meantime....
if the government is going to make of you a criminal, be the best one you can be.
