I'm not sure 10,000 signatures would make a difference in this state, but I'm willing to give it a try. Problem is, if this petition actually gets 10,000 signatures, how many of these will fold at the last minute anyway and do the deed to please the state and keep the heat off them? Cuomo has put the gun owners in this state in a very precarious position. Divide and conquer...that's the name of his game and he is winning. Gun owners need to wake up now!

Pay attention to the last 4 words. Any laws restricting a constitutional right is illegal.

Strictly speaking, an unconstitutional statute is not a "law", and should not be called a "law", even if it is sustained by a court, for a finding that a statute or other official act is constitutional does not make it so, or confer any authority to anyone to enforce it.Any unconstitutional act of an official will at least be a violation of the oath of that official to execute the duties of his office, and therefore grounds for his removal from office. No official immunity or privileges of rank or position survive the commission of unlawful acts. If it violates the rights of individuals, it is also likely to be a crime, and the duty obligates anyone aware of such a violation to investigate it, gather evidence for a prosecution, make an arrest, and if necessary, seek an indictment from a grand jury, and if one is obtained, prosecute the offender in a court of law.

It is now 3 weeks and we have only 102 signatures our of the Hundreds of Thousands of NY Permit Holders. About ONE percent ? How very sad is it that so few of us are willing to put our money where our mouths are. THIS is a perfect example of why the Left has won for so long. We finally have a President who appears to be on our side, but we cannot expect him to work a miracle and abolish oppressive laws like the Safe Act, that is up to US, the People of NY State. One day we MIGHT see Trump get around to the smaller things like this, but for now, he is being beaten-up by the Left for interfering with their Grand Plan of disarmament,invasion, weakness, destruction of Faith and Morality, division of the races, and total control of the masses. If you voted for Trump, have his back and let's get busy doing OUR part. One town at a time, one state at a time. One signature at a time.

To even go through the process is very expensive. Now you the Government of NY are making it harder for those that want protection with added cost. This needs to stop!
