The US and New Hampshire Constitutions protect our natural rights.
Specifically, they each declare that we, as citizens, have the "right to bear arms" in order to defend ourselves, our families, our homes, and our homeland.
The US Second Amendment unambiguously declares that this right "shall not be infringed", and the US Supreme Court has confirmed that this is an "individual right", not reserved for "militia".
The State of New Hampshire has created an unnecessary infringement on this natural right, requiring its citizens to obtain a license to carry a pistol or revolver in a concealed manner. New Hampshire Senate Bill 116 will "repeal this license requirement".
As a citizen of New Hampshire, I urge you to support this "Constitutional Carry" bill, which is of great importance to me. I pledge to withhold all future support for and will work against any legislator who votes in opposition to this bill.
Copies of this petition will be sent to the members of the New Hampshire Senate and House.
Plain words: "shall not be infringed" - MY Right and not a privilege to be doled out by a politicized Government.
