Nova Scotia Power
Northern Cape Breton residents have been without power for 113 hours from September-December. Services provided by Nova Scotia Power are inadequate, especially considering rate increases over the past 2 years. Due to incidents where residents have been without power, students have been unable to go to school, many people have lost perishable food due to fridge and freezer warming, stores have lost thousands of dollars in having to discount and throw out food.
