We are petitioning for the City of Warren to seek an alternate location for the dog park that is slated for Mulberry Playground/Park. Mulberry is a quiet park surrounded by residential homes. We would like to keep Mulberry a child friendly and tranquil location for families and individuals to utilize for outdoor recreation. We the undersigned believe that building a dog park in this location would have a negative impact on the neighborhood, causing unwanted nuisances. Said nuisances may include, but are not limited to; increased noise complaints, liability of safety for individuals living near the park or located within the playground/park limits, and decreased enjoyment of private property owners nearby the playground/park. While we would like a dog park for the enjoyment of the community, we feel that Mulberry is not a suitable or safe location for said dog park.

Reaching this level of support shows that the neighborhood is truly united against this plan. It has been an exhausting road so far but knowing that so many of you share this concern keeps me going.

Dog parks need to be located away from close neighborhoods to decrease noise and disturbances to the community.
A dog park should be added to the City of Warren community, but it should not be 30 feet from residences or next to a playground.
Downtown isn't the best place for a dog park. It would drive the neighbors crazy and it's dangerous for kids.
Please no dog park in mulberry playground.
Maybe it could go on the back side of Werner Park of 62.
Should be in a Non Residential Area
There should not be a dog park so close to residences. The park is a great idea, but I'm sure there is another location that would better suit everyone's needs.

This is no place for a dog park .. You are surrounded by residential properties.. it's not the least bit picturesque ..and it's way too small .. If I were the neighbors I would be angry too . This was an area designated for a playground for children and that's what it should remain . A very poor choice .. I have a dog and love to walk but I would never ever be interested in going there . You city planners need to go back to the drawing board.
