A developer, FJH, LLC, wants to turn the empty lot across from the Cork and Keg into a 220 rental unit complex. This rental development will greatly impact traffic at New Cut Road and Hwy 53 along with the possibility of negatively impact our property values and impacting the environment including two streams and local wildlife. We need your help in showing the Planning Committee and Braselton Town Council that developments of this nature are not what our community needs or wants.

We, the undersigned, hereby request the Town of Braselton not approve this proposal.

The emails I receive from neighbors about the traffic nightmares already happening on New Cut Road are heavy enough to keep me awake at night. I am currently spending every spare hour organizing our documentation for the upcoming council session to ensure they cannot ignore the reality of this development. It feels like an uphill climb against the developers but we have no choice except to keep pushing forward.

Reaching this level of support shows that our neighbors are finally seeing the reality of this disruption. My exhaustion is still there but seeing this response makes the fight feel worth the effort.

Please do not consider multi-unit housing in the Braselton area until our traffic issues are addressed and highways are built for growth. Thank you.

I just moved here from Alpharetta to get away from this kind of thing and they want to build an apartment complex right next door? Hell no! I want people who will actually care about the area and their neighbors to live here, not hundreds of random renters, coming and going, clogging up the roads and killing any sense of community.

Jackson County does not have the necessary emergency services to support this kind of growth- nor are the roads in the area designed to handle the traffic this will bring at this time.

this interesection can't handle any additional traffic. Between the semis, dump trucks, Amazon trucks, FedEx trucks and everything else on the road it would be major travesty.

We purchased a newly constructed home in 2017 that has helped push home values up in this area of Braselton. We do not want our home devalued by a rental home development such as this.

I am not a 'Braselton' resident. My physical address is Pendergrass, but I live at the other end of New Cut and 60. The traffic on New Cut is already excessive as well as the speed of the cars. The county/city is not ready for this type of development (ie. roads, school system, water, fire, etc).

Current infrastructure does not support this idea.

Single family homes. No rental complex.
