Hello and thank you for your time. With the opening of the school we have seen a rise in automobile and pedestrian traffic. There have been car crashes at Renaud and Stockton streets that have resulted in property damage. Luckily, no one was hurt in these crashes. Had they been at a different time of day that might be a different story. The cars crashed with such force they went over the sidewalk into yards. Someone could get seriously hurt if they are walking. Also, the school traffic makes it almost impossible to see if someone else is coming. Stop signs would force them to stop and make it safer.
Please support this topic by signing the petition to get 4 way stop signs put in at this intersection. I will present it at the traffic meeting on July 20th.

The momentum pouring in for this intersection is heavy and it serves as a grim reminder of how much this change is needed. I am exhausted by the constant near misses I see outside my window, but seeing this level of backing keeps me focused on the upcoming hearing.

I have lived on the corner of Powell and Renault for approx. 25 years have seen a number of accidents here and I also think it my slow down the traffic speeding down Stockton street
Yes we definitely need a four-way stop sign at this intersection. Too much negative interactions that happened here
