Music venues in neighborhoods across the City are disappearing from the landscape and we need more of them! More music, more joy!!!!
I spent the better part of 16 years at “the Thorn” and some of my favorite nights were those with the amazing Hot Pocket.

Blackthorn Tavern has always been a cornerstone of live entertainment in San Francisco! The energy, talent, and community vibe that the entertainment license brought to the venue helped create so many unforgettable nights. Restoring the license would not only bring back that magic but also keep the tradition of music and events alive for all of us who cherish it. Let’s make sure it continues to be a vibrant hub for local entertainment!
