Dear Resident,

We are seeking your support for a Liquor License at an existing adult establishment located in a manufacturing zone at 42-50 21st Street, L.I.C. 11101. As per zoning requirements, the site is more than 500 feet away from any residence, school, church, park or any other place that might even be remotely sensitive to our business.

Why support our petition for a Liquor License? JOBS –More than 100 entry level positions will be available for community residents, including wait staff, bartenders and kitchen staff. The success of our business will bring much-needed additional sales tax dollars to the local economy, monies that will help fund education, transportation and other basic services. Also, please know that we are fully committed to being a good neighbor and supporting the community through charitable activities. We will work to enhance the community’s quality of life.

Please sign and return the support statement below. Once you do, please accept VIP Access Privileges for one full year after our Grand Opening.

Thank you.

I do not see why not, would be better to know the location closes at 4 am verses a later time and that it would be more strict and selective at the door.

I feel any business that is is within the letter of the law should be given a chance to operate without being limited by local government.

21st street is a dead zone at night - in a neighborhood that is changing for the better but still have to deal with the proximity of the largest housing projects in the city, I for one think that having an establishment opened late at night with patrons AND employees on site make the street a whole lot safer.

I live down the street and I noticed that it's really not a big deal if they allowed this upscale place to serve liquor. I recently read about the Barge Bar in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and I could not understand why they can have liquor and one like this is having trouble. Good luck guys!

I live in lic for the last 3 years. Show palace is the biggest and the most beautiful club- restaurant in queens. They deserve the liquor license.

This was a great article. We as people should support small business and let our communities thrive. It sounds like the community board is choking the little guy out of business. Not very American to do this. I stand behind all small business. Let's all visit this community board
