We, the undersigned, are in support of the Entertainment Commission of San Francisco granting Tupelo an unrestricted entertainment license to provide quality entertainment to its patrons.
Tupelo will offer locals and visitors alike a friendly open social environment, great food and a venue which will encourage people to come together in a great setting. Our restaurant will serve high quality Southern cuisine and be led by a top local chef with over 10 years of experience in San Francisco. In addition, we seek to provide live entertainment of local performers with a bent toward blues, jazz and rock. We intend to be model neighbors and are concerned with the quality of life issues in the North Beach area.
Tupelo is located at 1337 Grant Avenue in San Francisco, the former location of Mojito's - a local music venue. Tupelo is managed by Teague Kernan - a local musician - and is seeking to continue to support local artists

ive been spending a lot of time talking to folks in the neighborhood lately and its clear that people really miss having a dedicated space for live music in this spot. we are still working hard behind the scenes to get this license approved and i promise to let you know the second we have real news.

San Francisco is turning into a ghost town for nightlife. Just let the man run his business. Support local musicians!

North Beach needs more live music spots. Been missing the vibe since Mojito's closed down. Tupelo is the perfect fit for the neighborhood.

Keep live music alive in SF. This city is losing its soul and local venues like this are all we have left.
