La Porte Indiana citizens, as I walked the streets of our neighborhood last night during Halloween, I witnessed a lot of kids falling due to the fact that there isn't adequate lighting, as well as because of uneven sidewalks.
These accidents can be avoided if the sidewalks were renovated and there would be a substantial decrease in crime if there were more lighted areas. More light=more recognizable criminals. Please join me, in signing this petition to improve the streets of our neighborhood.

Please consider coming to the City Council meeting this Monday. The public comment portion is a th e very beginning, I believe that council and mayor hearing directly from the citizens about our concerns is very important.
We need more lights
They repaired most of ridge street but stopped a few blocks from my house.
Our street is so dark. I agree totally !

I tripped on the sidewalk near the corner of 5th just last week. Its a nightmare for my elderly mom to walk anywhere at night. We need lights fixed ASAP.
