Slippery Rock is a beautiful town, with an atmosphere that makes everyone feel at home, but why is it that once the sun goes down the town almost disappears into the night. The streets are pitch black and rarely are there decent street lights. This becomes a problem for both pedestrians and drivers! Being a college town, many students tend to walk to off campus housing complexes both during the week and also on weekends. With the problem focused around Harmony Road and Kiester Road, I believe that it is time for a change. We do not want students to get hurt simply because it is hard to see anything on these back road streets during the night. By signing this petition you are showing that you believe we need to work towards a safer Slippery Rock, and that starts with small things like better quality street lights!

literally almost hit a student the other night because they were wearing all black and i couldnt see them. fix this.
