In less than a year, two accidents have occurred where pedestrians have been hit by cars on Chester Road. Our streets are dark, they are dangerous, and because of this people are getting hurt and even killed. Something so simple can make our roads safer at night, we need street lights! People who do not have cars must walk on these roads at night to get to work, the store, etc. They need to be able to travel safely. Please help us spread the word, sign this petition and we can all work together to keep our roads safe. Thank you

So unsafe. I visit there all the time and plan on moving there. Hopefully this problem will be resolved quickly!
Some people travel via bike and by foot to work down chester rd. It is scary and dangerous ithout appropriate lighting.

We definitely need street lights all over Nassau County. I've almost hit someone walking on CR107 way to many times.
