The momentum we have collectively built is becoming impossible for the council to ignore. It is exhausting to keep pushing against this development, but your support confirms that we are not fighting this alone.

I would like Millersburg to be a actual city not to become a truck stop. If we put a major truckstop into our city we will never become anything else other than that. There are plenty of other areas to put a truckstop in that will not affect residential areas such as ours. Millersburg is not equipped with a police force equipped to handle the traffic, possible crime, and transients a truckstop this big could bring. I would love to see schools, grocery store and other smaller retail businesses come to our city however I think the addition of a truckstop would make Millersburg just that a truck stop

Too high concentration of big trucks, crime, litter in our community. I-5 is too congested north on Albany to the rest area already causing wrecks so often. Truck stops need to be in an open area away from communities with ease of access.

We live in Morningstar subdivision and are adamantly opposed to the truck stop. We have lived here for 10 years and are devastated to know that the charming little town of Millersburg is headed this direction. Who wants to raise a family .5 miles from a 24hr truck stop?!?!

Please take into account the proximity of a residential area and small town of Jefferson prior to placing a potentially high crime business such as a truck stop. There are many children and families in this area.
