This petition is in concern and opposition to the Pacific Gateway Project, a purposed 2100 acre development of industrial use buildings planned at the South East corner of Tracy Ca.
The scope of this project is massive and will have a profound negative effect on the residents of Tracy and Mountain House. This development will also greatly affect anyone coming in and out of the Central Valley using Highways 580, 205, 132, 5 and 33. The petition will be added to the environmental impact study being submitted to the county regarding the effects of the Pacific Gateway Project. It's very important to have large numbers of people expressing concern or opposition of this build, so the county will take a closer look at the project and it's consequences before just pushing it through.
This project was purposed not long ago under the different name of Golden State Logistical Hub. Once it met with opposition, a high priced marketing team was hired, some adjustments were made to make it more appealing and it was newly named, Pacific Gateway Project. This was to fool residents and the county in to believing this monstrosity is a good idea. No residents have fallen for it, but unless we have a united voice the county will push it through simply because money talks. Please see past the smoke and mirrors. Do your research, sign the petition, and pass it along to anyone and everyone.
If you look at the map they have provided for this project, which can be located on their website, the pink is ALL warehouses while the tiny other areas are the University, VFW & Retial they are bragging about on the news. While they want this entire project approved only mention 1% of what they are doing to appeal to the public.
All email comments in opposition must go to the planning department before 12/22/25. This is one of many meetings we have attended and at this point we just need to picket outside the meeting, so please come to express your opposition

The Central Valley has one of the richest soil in the country. The crop that grows in our region feeds over 90 countries. We need more farmland, not more warehouses. Stop the growth that will destroy our food source!
We should invest in improving the air quality. This project is only going to exacerbate the poor air quality in the Valley. Healthy citizens need a healthy environment to live in.
Reject the Pacific gateway project it will cause heavy traffic more industrial trucks speeding down Chrisman . Will take our water from homeowners and farmers. The smallest building is the veterans building which is just a front for their huge industrial trucking company to come in . Don’t be fooled
This gateway project will ruin Tracy and surrounding communities. Lived here since '98 and voted for slow growth and look what happens when the City is allowed a little room. This city is overwhelmed. No, not again!
Too much unoccupied warehouse space in and around Tracy already to add more to and intrude on people’s homes, property and privacy. This is a move to line the pockets of those who are already wealthy and not a genuine effort to make Tracy and Mountain House a better and more productive place to live. Please DO NOT approve!
No more trucks in Tra y. Or build the warehouse away from city residences

We already have semis rolling up and down Macarthur, using Valpico and Lammers as short cuts out of town. When we start having traffic accidents from too much big rig activity it will be too late. It’s a boondoggle in the property owners self-interest.
