Millersburg Residents against LOVE's TRUCK STOP

I would like Millersburg to be a actual city not to become a truck stop. If we put a major truckstop into our city we will never become anything else other than that. There are plenty of other areas to put a truckstop in that will not affect residential areas such as ours. Millersburg is not equipped with a police force equipped to handle the traffic, possible crime, and transients a truckstop this big could bring. I would love to see schools, grocery store and other smaller retail businesses come to our city however I think the addition of a truckstop would make Millersburg just that a truck stop

Please take into account the proximity of a residential area and small town of Jefferson prior to placing a potentially high crime business such as a truck stop. There are many children and families in this area.

I am against Loves Truck Stop going into Millersburg. To close to home to much noise to much traffic!

Too high concentration of big trucks, crime, litter in our community. I-5 is too congested north on Albany to the rest area already causing wrecks so often. Truck stops need to be in an open area away from communities with ease of access.

I'm not against this truck stop being built but I think it needs to be built farther away from family neighborhoods here in Millersberg.

We live in Morningstar subdivision and are adamantly opposed to the truck stop. We have lived here for 10 years and are devastated to know that the charming little town of Millersburg is headed this direction. Who wants to raise a family .5 miles from a 24hr truck stop?!?!

I live on Lauren Ave and think a truck stop in our quiet little town would be wrong.

We just moved to Millersburg. I don't think a busy truck stop would be a good fit for this quiet residential town.

The paper made this sound like a done deal without going through the whole process. Millersburg is made up of several small businesses that actually Love's could end up replacing. This could change the 'country feel' that we all know and love.

We love living in Millersburg, but my family and many around us, will move if this truck stop happens.

This is an outrage! A truck stop does not belong in this peaceful neighborhood!
