The Middleton Planning Board has officially denied the development application and designated the Camp Simcha property as permanent conservation land. We have secured the legal protections necessary to block any future construction on this site. I will circulate the final stewardship agreement once the town council completes the formal filing …
We, the undersigned, need the town of Middleton to know that we would like to see the land, known as Camp Simcha, to be preserved as recreational and conservation land and not be developed into a large community of homes.
The petition reached 100 signatures this morning. I am drafting a formal letter for the upcoming town council meeting to ensure this data is entered into the public record.

My kids grew up going to this camp. Please dont turn it into another boring subdivision. Middleton needs more nature not more pavement.
