The persistent interest in expanding this development project remains a significant concern for our neighborhood. I am currently reviewing the zoning documents to better understand how we can effectively challenge the proposed increase in density. Your emails to the selectman provide the necessary momentum to keep this issue at the forefront of local governance.

The rapid growth of our movement demonstrates a clear consensus regarding the preservation of the recreation center path. This momentum confirms that the community values the current character of our neighborhood over further high-density development.

Residentially zoned land needs to stay that way. Once again a neighborhood has to fight to keep their neighborhood residential. Ridgefield needs to change their regulations.
This is the wrong place for this development. Traffic is a nightmare and really unsafe. Putting a building with 67 additional parking spaces where there was a single family home is going to hurt our town far more than help it. With only 9 units of the 30 being affordable it is a sham! Developer - wins, Ridgefield - loses.
This is my favorite walk to be at peace while listening to the birds. I can't imagine an apartment building being there!!
Given that so many roads in Ridgefield are unsafe to run and bike on, this path is absolutely essential for families. It is one of the things that made us choose Ridgefield over neighboring towns. It would be a tragedy to destroy this safe and tranquil place.
I’m not against all developments, but the rec center area is already a major traffic bottleneck and that path is one of the things that makes our town special. Surely there is empty land farther north where the road is wider for development.
The State should be taken to task regarding this 8-30 G. We need to VOTE and change Hartford. There are great Representatives that have been working hard against the tide. John Frey and Toni Boucher have been incredibly strong in defending our town. We need them to continue the fight and we need to Vote in Bob Stefanowski
The trails are wonderful and should be treasured not developed. Appreciate what you have before it is gone.

Having the walking path for people to walk/ run on is a necessasity in a town that lacks sidewalks and safe walking areas. Secondly rite 35 cannnot handle the extra traffic flow !
