Purpose: To petition the board to move forward with opening the community pool and to outline requirements to do so safely.

It is necessary to hold a special meeting to petition the HOA Board to open the pool and outline procedures needed to do so safely. Per executive order GA-23, swimming pools are considered "covered services' and are allowed to reopen at 25 percent capacity under Phase 1. Due to the changes in the legal environment since our last meeting on April 16ht, 2020, it is important that a special meeting be granted.

Under Article 3 of the Bylaws, a special meeting may be called by the President, by the board, or by Members having not less than one-tenth (1/10) of the votes entitled to be cast at the proposed special meeting. Subject to the provisions of Article 1396-2.11B of the Act (Texas Non-profit Corporation Act), written or printed notice stating the place, day and hour of the meeting and purpose (for special meetings) shall be delivered not less than ten (10) nor more than sixty (60) days before the date of the meeting.

Based on the above, it is important that we get the required signatures to move forward with scheduling the meeting.
