In the United States, there are many Malverns, but onlyourMalverne, however, is spelled with the final "e." It is one of a kind. To many of us, we simply refer to it as "Home." Malverne High School opened its doors in 1957. It has never been known by any other name. We, the undersigned, have walked the halls ofthis school, made friendships that last to this day, and were always proud to be called a Mule. We implore the Board of Education to not take our history and pride away by changing the name of our school.

Five hundred people have now told the Board of Education that our history is not for sale. These school board members think they can erase our identity with a stroke of a pen but they are dead wrong. We are five hundred strong and we are not backing down.

Stop changing things that arent broken.
I moved away but Malverne will always be the name of my school. Leave it be.
Class of 88. Once a Mule always a Mule.
Why are they even wasting time on this? Focus on the curriculum instead.
My kids went there and my grandkids go there now. Leave the name alone it was fine for decades.
Still looking for the 'Westside Story' album.
When I graduated Malverne in 1951 it was called Malverne Jr. Sr. High School.
