As students in Oakleaf we would like to see stairs be put in on the sandy, rocky, slope that students use to get home when walking from Oakleaf High School. As many of you know students can talk all day long but it is sometimes hard for us to get our voices heard. If we were to have our community behind us we would be able to get more done. Please sign our petition to help us bring awareness to our cause.
The feedback from students regarding the hazardous condition of the slope continues to highlight how necessary these improvements are for our safety. I am currently preparing a formal proposal to submit to the city planning office to ensure our request is reviewed by the appropriate authorities.

The response to this proposal remains remarkably strong. This momentum confirms that our community recognizes the necessity of safe access for all students navigating the slope.

THIS IS LONG OVERDUE! Kids are sliding all over that hill every single day.

Glad to see someone finally trying to fix this path. It makes so much sense to just put some stairs in.

For safety and landscaping purposes, it would make more sense to embrace the reality than fight the dream.

My daughter slipped on that slope twice last month, it is genuinely dangerous when it gets muddy out.
