I was hurt in a car accident in 2012. I had to come to campus a lot to sign papers. A lot of thebuildings are in accessible to people, even with a simple cane. even during my senior year my disability made it difficult to get around.
Thank you to all of the students and faculty involved in this project. As a Hiram Alum ('14) and a practicing RN, I admire the choice to advocate for those who need our support and efforts.
I strongly support this petition based on my experiences at Hiram and elsewhere. I admire the effort you are putting into this important cause.
Begging stuck on crutches for a couple months now has opened my eyes to how limited our campus has with accsesibility. There needs to be a change.
