We, the students, parents, teachers, and community members of Cyprus High School, are calling for immediate action to restore safe and reliable access to our school.

After the tragic death of a Cyprus High student on the unpaved back road leading to campus, the road was closed for safety reasons. While the closure is understandable, it has created a new and urgent problem: more than 2,500 students and staff now have only one road to enter and exit the school.

This has resulted in:

  • Extreme traffic congestion both in and around the neighborhood
  • Students arriving late despite leaving home early
  • Increased risk of accidents due to overcrowded roads
  • Delays for parents, buses, and emergency vehicles on the main road
  • Daily disruption to learning and school operations, and others trying to leave Magna

We are asking Magna City, West Valley City, and the Granite School District to immediately determine who is responsible for paving the back road and to begin the process without delay. Students deserve safe access to their school, and the current situation is unsafe, unsustainable, and unacceptable.

We urge local officials to act quickly, communicate transparently, and prioritize the safety of our community before another preventable tragedy occurs.

We sign this petition to demand a clear plan and immediate action to pave the back road to Cyprus High School.

My daughter works at Cyprus and I have grandchildren that go there as well. There should be another access to the school. Drop off and pick up are insane and extremely unsafe!

I live in Little valley and we need more entrance to this neighborhood for all of us who live here. With the highschool there's more traffic. They have activities after school too. It was my understanding that DH Horton was going to do the road and idk why they decided it wasn't important. It's important to those who live here.

This needed to be done BEFORE the school was finished to ensure the safety of our children and those of us that drive them up and down every day!

This road should be paved as the planning should have included 4 outlets to the main road or 4 lanes wide in each direction. There is only one current route that takes hours to get in and out of.

There needs to be more than one road in and out of this school. There is too much congestion and that isn't safe for when emergencies happen and first responders need to get through.

A LICENSED CRYPTO RECOVERY HACKER EXPERT TO CONTACT IS ALPHA KEY. After three years of depression, I lost my credit card score and cryptocurrency investment funds to so-called scammers who pretended to be online brokers. After reading recovery reviews about Alpha Key, I was stunned and had second thoughts, but I still decided to give it a try. To my greatest surprise, Alpha Key not only fixed my credit card score but also helped me trace back my cryptocurrency investment funds. I am grateful for
