please sigh this petition to keep lucy at 66 whites path. South Yarmouth. Lucy is my support horse. The town wants her gone. She is Loved by many. She is happy healthy and well cared for..I am hoping that by having people sigh this petition, the town may have a heart and let me stay. It is so hard for me dealing with this. My panic is high. But i am dealing with it. I get very depressed then i see lucy and feel so much better. I have agoraphobia with panic disorder. The town says that is not true. They say lucy is to close to THERE property line. And that the lands to small. 1/4 of a acer to small. This land had 3 horses on it in the past. The town says it has not had horses in a long time. So it can not be grandfathered. If you have any questions you can call 7747229700. Ty . There is a new update!!!! Town just had papers delivered to me. I am being sued!!!! I am beside my self. I need a lawyer!

Lucy is well loved and well cared for. Her living situation is safe and meets all her needs. There is precedent for keeping horses on the property. Do the right thing and let Lucy stay at 66 White's Path. Show some human compassion and honor this unique situation.

If Lucy is cared for she should be able to stay. She is not in a neighborhood but in an industrial setting. Most people don't even see her when they drive by. The alternative could be far worse if the owner can't afford another place for her.

This horse is her lifeline to a happy life. Lucy gives her the stability she needs. Don't take her stability away. This is a necessity for her. I have known Carrie for over 30 years. She is a wonderful person and needs this help !!!

this sounds heartbreaking and i was a young rider who relied on horses for so many emotional needs as a young girl, and the poor horse who only know where she is at now, to be unsettled in a new environment at the later stages of life is heartbreaking.

I am a retired RN who knows how well horse therapy works! I am appalled at the town since they know full well that Lucy has been there for years! Shame on them! Carrie, you should get a letter from your Doctor letting the town know how much Lucy has helped you over the years! I'm praying that the RIGHT thing will be done! Lizx

The Town of Yarmouth could easily approve an appeal or zoning variance based on Carrie's need for an emotional support animal due to her disability. This property once legally housed several horses, do one horse really shouldn't be an issue. Let Lucy stay!
