If Lucy is cared for she should be able to stay. She is not in a neighborhood but in an industrial setting. Most people don't even see her when they drive by. The alternative could be far worse if the owner can't afford another place for her.

if the horse is well cared for let her keep the horse. I have no idea why a town would sue a woman over her horse, especially if there were horses there before? My guess is someone moved to her neighborhood and does not want her to have the horse. Isn't there enough bad stuff to deal with in Yarmouth? Leave her alone. If neighbors are the culprit then let them move!

There are more important things to worry about in the town of yarmouth than taking this woman's horse.the horse is taken care of and they both have a bond with one another. I'm sure if she cones across some money she will get it,a bigger place!

To those who are unaware, I have 21 years in healthcare background and panic disorders and agoraphobia are VERY REAL. To verify this, look it up in the ICD-10 Medical coding. If requestwd, I have a daughter who is a professional medical coder that can provide this info. We, as humans must learn to use our power in the positions we hold for the good of mankind not the harm of. This is Cape Cod, known for its beauty, animals and so much more breathtaking scenery & charm that attracts tourists from all over. Please, there are things of priority that far outweigh this issue and if there were horses here once before, why not bring back that charm of yesteryear? Not to mention this poor person who suffers from these disabilities. We allow companion dogs in places that are unheard of. I ask with respect, to reconsider the 1/4 acre and rephrase it as "one horse up to one acre. " I believe that's how it was relayed in another town with similar issues of under one acre.

If the property had horses in the past, what is the problem. There are far more pressing things to worry about than a horse, unless the area for the horse is unsafe for it.

Go after the yards that look like dumps instead of going after animals. Yarmouth has enough to worry about with its drug overdoses and crimes sprees
Spend the tax dollars on drug and alcohol counseling, not seeing a woman who is properly caring for her therapeutic horse.

My aunt loves and takes care of this horse. Lucy is well taken care of and helps my aunt be a happier healthier person. Please just let her have her horse.
