My name is Danna Barkley, some know me as the "Pig Lady" or Pig Mama". This week I was visited by the Animal Control and given a warning based on Ordinance 952. The warning has given me 30 days to get rid of Wilbur and Fern. These are not only pets but a part of our family and we are devastated at the thought of having to rehome them. Also, after researching this I have found that often times they don't survive after being separated from their owners due to the fact that they grieve themselves to death. I appreciate the support that the Sage Meadows community has already shown Barry and myself since this has happened. We are truly blessed to have such great neighbors. We are going to fight to keep our family together and hope that you will continue to support this effort by signing this petition.
This petition is for Sage Meadows residents that DO NOT wish for Wilbur & Fern to leave Sage Meadows. LET'S KEEP THEM WITH THE ONLY FAMILY THEY HAVE EVERY KNOWN!

Danna deserves to keep Wilbur & Fern, I understand there's a no-swine order in Jonesboro city limits. But good grief Sage Meadows is pretty much its own city, so let them stay!
Don't make Wilbur and Fern leave! I've always enjoyed seeing them around the neighborhood and especially at the Fourth of July events. I know their owners care about them so much!
Wilber and Fern need to stay with their forever family !! If removed they will grieve their selfs to death !! And that is animal abuse !!! Please let them stay ! They know.no one else !!!
I live across the street from Wilbur and Fern and we love those pigs! It is such a delight to see them wagging their tails and they always bring smiles to my kid's faces. They are not harming a soul and I personally think they act better than most dogs.
I do not live in Sage but have seen how you love and care for Wibur and Fern. There would not be anyone that would care for them the way you do. I hope that you get to keep them.
I love your pig!! I would hate to see him go! He always brightens my dad when we see him outside!
These pigs don't bother anyone or anything...leave them alone and let them enjoy their home in Sage Meadows. Pets are like children to people and shouldn't be taken away for no reason! Sage Meadows use to be a cattle farm before it was annexed into the city!

I have lived in Sage Meadows for over 13 years and never knew the pigs were living near me. Let this family keep their "babies".
