To: Lindenhurst School Board of Lindenhurst, NY. We, the undersigned, students of Lindenhurst High School, oppose the current dress for graduation ceremonies given for our senior classes. We deem this dress - males in green, females in white - not unified. Students who attend Lindenhurst High School, male or female, do so together. We all go through the same schooling and have to meet the same set of requirements to earn that walk on graduation day. Why can\'t we be unified until the end We\'re calling for a change. One we hope will take place for the Class of 2009 and on. We want all students, male and female, to wear green gowns on graduation day. Please answer our call! We want to go green!
