The Ambulance Services Collective Bargaining Act, 2001 of Ontario states that:
"When a collective agreement covering ambulance workers is being negotiated, the statute requires that the parties must have an essential ambulance services agreement before ambulance workers in the barganing unit can engage in a strike."
We, the people of Ontario, request that the right to engage in a strike be revoked and that all Ontario ambulance workers, paramedics, emergency medical dispatchers and all paramedic and emergency medical services be re-classifed as essential services for the citizens of Ontario.
Keep our streets safe. People cant wait for an ambulance because of a dispute.
