This is our petition to legalize fireworks in St. Charles Parish. This ordinance has been around since 1976 and it's time for a change.
Also, don't forget to email or fax your council person to let him or her know you want them to vote FOR legalization of fireworks by residents of St Charles Parish.

The feedback from local families has been consistent and clear. I am spending today drafting formal requests to each council office to demand a vote on this ordinance. Call your representative this afternoon to ensure they know we are paying attention.

Finally!! Been waiting for someone to start this.
I just want to be able to celebrate the holidays in my own backyard without worrying about getting a ticket. please fix this law.
Its ridiculous we have to drive to the next parish over just to get some for the 4th. Let us have some fun at home.
ridiculous ordinance. fireworks are part of being american. stop being such buzzkills
about time! every year my kids ask why we cant have them like our cousins do. really hope the council listens this time
