Help Us Legalize the Use and Sale of Fireworks in Schenectady County, NY
Last fall the New York State legislature gave counties the ability to legalize the sales of certain consumer fireworks, like ground based fountains and sparklers. Now theSchenectadyCounty Legislature is currently debating a proposal to allow residents the right to sell and use sparklers, fountains and other novelties around the Fourth of July. This common sense local law will let our residents enjoy the freedoms that Americans in 46 other states enjoy in celebrating our Nation's independence.
We hope you will sign this petition to urge all members of theSchenectadyCounty Legislature to support this local law!
