Moving Ms. Grasso from South Country would truly be a disservice to the students there. She cares so much about all of her students, to the point that she remembers and takes interest in the lives of her students even after they graduate! I graduated from there almost 15 years ago and she STILL recognizes me. She helped inspire a love of learning in me and I’m sure many MANY other students.

Mrs. Grasso is a very caring, professional & always available for advice. Most of our 12 grandchildren have known & loved Mrs. Grasso & there are 2 more coming up. Please keep Mrs. Grasso in South Country!

Schools are in the business of teaching children that if you work hard, you are rewarded. What message are we sending if you have a strong principal who has established an incredible rapport with her children, only to be transferred from her home because of such efforts? This is not only a mixed message, it truly isn’t kind. Please leave Mrs. Grasso at South Country.

I can not even imagine South Country School without Ms. Grasso as Principal. Moreover, I can not imagine my children attending South Country School without Ms. Grasso. Her hard work, commitment and great leadership, along with her sincere dedication to her students, staff and parents has made South Country School what it is today - A place where all children are accepted for who they are and encouraged to be the best person they can be. A place where kindness is valued and shared. A place where Together We Give We Gain We Grow. Please do not move Ms. Grasso!

I was extremely disheartened to learn that there’s a possibility of ms. Grasso being transferred from south country school. The amazing culture of the south county school is due to ms. Grasso’s dedication and leadership of a school that she pours her heart into. One of the main reasons we moved to bay shore was because of the outstanding reputation of this school and principal and I think moving ms. Grasso would have a negative impact on this community. I hope you will sincerely reconsider this proposal. Thank you.

We are entering south country in September and One of our main reasons for living in our neighborhood is because of mrs. Grasso and her reputation at south country school. Our disappointment would be immeasurable if she is moved to another building.

Ms. Grasso is South Country School! She has made South Country a home away from home to all of our kiddos over the years. My son is in 3rd grade now and she knew him by his first and last name by the end of the first week of school. She did have his older brothers but they are much older than him (22,20 & 16) and she asked my youngest how they were all doing by their first names!! She doesn’t forget anyone and makes everyone feel special, even the parents! South Country wouldn’t be the same without her. It amazes all of us how this woman has done this job for so many years and still has so much enthusiasm for it and has a great big smile everyday. Please leave Ms. Grasso at South Country.
