We want Babergh District Council to adopt all Public Open Spaces in line with the legally binding Planning Permission that was granted to Persimmon in 2009 for Weavers Meadow. The current process involving Remus and costing residents over £200 a year is in contradiction to the Planning Permission and should be ended. Sign this petition to help the Residents Association encourage Babergh to act in the residents best interests and adopt all Public Open Spaces.

The momentum behind this fight proves that residents are done paying for what Persimmon and Babergh District Council already promised. This surge of support shows exactly how many people are ready to hold these bureaucrats accountable for their failure to act.

I cannot understand how or why Persimmon Homes have been able to get away with this. The original planning agreement must be upheld and Babergh District Council should adopt all open spaces.

Remus costs to us will only escalate if they get to manage the balance pond and wilderness areas. Please sign so we can demonstrate to the council that we are all in agreement to hand over the responsibility and liability to the Council as agreed when the planning permission was signed.

How is it allowed to be called public open space when the 'public' do not pay for it !

Not happy with the cost versus quality of service currently - and who knows how much the cost will increase in the future?

So long as the work is done. Risk is the council do a worse job. But for the amount we are paying ........

Delighted to drop both Remus and the responsibility of the estate management. It's partly what our council tax is for after all
