An Post has officially committed to the reopening of the Killeigh branch. I am now coordinating with local representatives to ensure the transition process remains transparent and adheres to our original terms.

We are approaching one hundred signatures which is the threshold required to trigger a formal review meeting with An Post officials. I need everyone to secure three additional signatures today to reach this target before I submit the documentation next week.

As th Principal of the local primary school of 270 pupils, I can say for certain that we are lost without the Post Office. We always did every bit of our business through Killeigh PO and will continue to do so in the future when it reopens
Should never have been closed in the first place. It is a landmark in one of the cleanest, Tidiest and probably the friendliest villages Ireland has to offer ;-). Geashill post office was left open so why not killeigh post office ? I say reopen it....
I miss the post office, large parcel have to be taken to town were you have to find parking at an acceptable distant to be able to carry the parcel to the post office. You have to pay for parking and stand in a cue with a heavy parcel
Need our post office second biggest parish in Ireland there's smaller parishes with one as a post man myself i can see the day to day need for one in the village
It was a huge loss to the village when it closed. For some elderly people it was their only point of contact on a daily basis with the community outside of their own home. I would welcome it and use it twice weekly for work purposes if not more often.
I wish for Killeigh to have its own post office again.

There is huge demand for this post office to reopen as people from killeigh and surrounding areas have to travel to tullamore to use the post office. Tullamore post office is always full and the queues are ridiculous. Please please reopen killeigh.
