We are studying Live Events and Television, and with the potential of loosing our TV lecturer we would effectively become a Live Events course, with a small amount of scheduled TV time.
The Great thing about our course is that it gives us the opportunity to try and experience such a diverse range of industry practises from both worlds. Lets keep it that way.

I have been spending my nights drafting emails to the department heads and waiting for any sign of a response. It is draining to see our curriculum being stripped apart piece by piece while we wait for answers that never come. I am tired but I am not going to stop pushing until we get some clarity on our future.

The momentum around this is heavy and it feels like people are finally starting to listen. It has been a long road to get here but seeing this level of support helps keep me going when it feels like we are losing ground.

LCC have a shocking record of making ridiculous cuts to Arts Education in both FE & HE sections, this is no exception. It's important students feel like they are getting the most out of their time at UAL, and building relationships with their tutors is an extremely important factor in this. By cutting one of the course's main tutors, they are completely disobeying this.
This is an absolute joke that were paying 9,000 for this mess of a course. Main teacher being made redundant at this vital stage of our education. Every student has invested a huge amount of money and trust into UAL and rely on them providing us with a good education- this includes providing a television teacher seeing as the course is live events and TELEVISION! Improvements must be made asap!
Hi An update staff plan will be provided in detail during the summer but in the mean time I have noticed some miss-information is being shared with you all. You seem to have been given the wrong info from someone. Please do not be mislead by miss feeds. We will be having a balance of TV and Live Events, a better balance, having considered your feedback to us too. This was explained to those that were present in college this afternoon, in brief meeting. I am sorry this has occurred when you were not all here to discuss this issue with, but I am here for you if you need to discuss. Please feel free to call me next week with your questions. I am not sure who has misinformed you but the health of the course is the heart of the interest in the staff plan for next year, and it will be strong and full, and no one has been excluded from applying. This is ridiculous. He is a good teacher and has helped me actually learn something to do with the field I want to be in.
