At The Forest School i had picked Media Studies as one of my options for year 10, when we enrolled in the course we had the course explained to us and we were told 40% of our GCSE would be based on our final film production. We have so far spent a year working on theories and practicing skills to help us get high grades on our final piece. Now because of a group of students who took part in dangerous activities during filming in school we have been told the film work will be scrapped. I for one do not believe this is fair as we will only have a single year to try complete our GCSE with a new course to complete. PLEASE sign this petition if you believe this isn't fair and would like to support me so we can try save film in Media Studies.

Just because some stupid little year 9 decides to climb the roof and knock a tile means everyone has to suffer! it's stupid!

The tiles were made from cardboard so it's the schools fault to not making it strong enough

As many of you will know, I, myself, am some what of a filming fanatic, but if people can't be trusted, then, I am sad to say, the privileged of being allowed to go out and film MUST be taken away from everybody.
