Tomorrow Monday July 7th, our councilmen will have to chose a chief of police, newly elected mayor Forsythe's choice ( to be annouced ) or our current chief of 20 years Ken Thorn. Seeing how Thorn has done an outstanding job. I strongly feel there is NO need for a replacement at this time. Our beautiful town of Chester has been looked after by Chief Thorn, a man who wants to maintain its peaceful sense of community. A man who has dedicated the last 2 and a half decades of his life to protecting the town he loves.

Chester's council meeting is tomorrow (July 7th) at 6pm and it will be an open vote, meaning that we will be able to see how our councilmen vote.
