The township is trying to fire the best thing to happen to us! They decided to tell Bill Phillips after he prepared the budget they asked him to prepare, after over a million dollars has been stolen right out from under their noses. They told him that they will have to fire him as of the beginning of January due to lack of funds to pay his salary. They had the nerve to ask the man to retire, obviously he said no, he has no desire to resign from the position he loves so much. With his experience as a state trooper, he has reduced the crime here in the township significantly and a few other things that are still yet to come. We, the people of the township, who pay these so called supervisors, need to stand up and tell them that this is UNEXCEPTABLE and we will not put up with the nonsense that goes on any longer.

Seeing one hundred people sign this list reminds me that I am not the only one who sees the value in what Bill has done for our community. This township needs him to finish the work he started. I am overwhelmed by the support you all have shown for the right person for this job.

We are gaining momentum but we need to push harder to hit that first hundred signatures. If you care about keeping Chief Phillips in his role please get this in front of your neighbors right now.

this is to important of a position to be cut find another way to make budget. I am sure if you look around you can find wasteful spending. Bill is a huge asset to this community with his experience. Hope the supervisors look into this more and don't take the easy way out
The district has a real asset in Bill Phillips , to let him go would be a serious mistake. Don't live in the district, but we have Grandchildren who do. There has to be other solutions ......
Please reevaluate your budget and find other places to cut expenses..maybe supervisors' salaries or positions? We have ONE police chief, and he's good at his job--this is an asset that we need to hold on to to keep our community a nice place to live and raise a family!
mr. phillips would go beond his call of duties to help anyone. tis is not fair to do this to this man. let's all support him in any way we can. he has helped my family when i have called him. and i dont even live in that township. that township is out of there mind's to let this man go.
Only two of the three supervisors want to do this. They did this without even talking about it with the third. Albertini, the one with a brain, wants to keep Bill.
Mr. John Daily we would love to have you attend you meeting where we can address your issues! Be a man and not hide behind a computer screen and do not continue to hide behind a fake name as we are all aware of who you really are!! so attend out meeting!
Thursday January 8th, 2014 at 6pm. There will be a town hall meeting at St. Joseph's Parish Social Hall at 1111 Cascade Street. This meeting is for ALL of Shenango Township residents!! Please pass the message along. we would love to have all of the residents attend as something needs to be done with the mess that has been created in this township. Please pass the message along and we will see you all there at 6pm.

This township is so corrupt. Let's let someone go someone who actually makes positive contributions to our community and keep the ones who allow over a MILLION dollars slip under their noses. Our mediocre supervisor should be replaced with someone who can actually handle cleaning this mess up the proper way.
