Heartland Community has 2 swimming pools for residents to use. The hours and dates of the pool opening and closing has changed 3 times since our family moved here. In 2019, the pool dates to open and close have once again changed; and not for the benefit of ALL residents in Heartland. After August 18, 2019, the Heartland pools will be closed on weekdays and will only open on weekends. Heartland is a diverse community of working individuals, families with children, retired, work from home professionals, and professionals with unusual working hours/days. Having the pools close during the week completely eliminates an entire population of residents who pay to use the pool! So OPEN THE POOL during the week, keeping the regularly schedule maintenance times, through the entirety of September. Keep the pool open until October 1, 2019. Let residents use their pool!

I have been reviewing the feedback from residents regarding the recent reduction in pool accessibility. It is clear that the current schedule fails to accommodate the diverse needs of our community members who rely on these facilities. I am working to arrange a formal meeting with the management office to ensure these concerns are addressed directly.

The pool remaining open during the week is beneficial to those of us that work during the weekend and domt get a chance to use the amenities that we as adults pay for. So many changes without allowing the community to vote, for example the adult only pool now allowijg children under the age of 14 to swim in.
I homeschool my daughters and have lived here since 2006 I would love to have more time during the week when is still hot to enjoy with my family. Thank you
Competing subdivisions such as Devonshire and Greyhawk have much longer swim seasons. They start in the beginning on may and last to late December.
Keep it open. Community already has nothing to do daily. Why take away what we're paying for, that was delayed opening to begin with? Adults don't want to be overcrowded with kids for the summer. Extend the time!
School age kids are not the only pool patrons in Heartland. The current plan in place for the pool hours once school starts is ridiculous, narrow minded, and inconsiderate of many people.
We homeschool, and can definitely enjoy the pool after public school starts
