The administration confirmed that LCA will remain open for in-person instruction. We have achieved the goal of protecting our current classroom model by maintaining our operational status. We will keep monitoring the health directives to ensure these policies remain in place throughout the term.

Today, November 18th, Governor Andy Beshear announced that all private schools are to cease in-person instructionbeginning November 23. Middle and high schools are to remain in remote instruction until Jan 4th while elementary schools may reopen on Dec 7 if their county is not in the red zone.

We, the following parents, fully support LCA continuing in person instruction. The school has faithfully followed CDC guidelines, complied with all health department regulations and passed inspections with excellence!

We are confident in the schools ability with all the implemented safety measures to continue providing excellent education. While we realize the board may have the final vote on this, we earnestly ask that the leadership consider the majority of the parents wishes. Virtual instruction has been offered for any family requiring added safety and should continue to be. However, for families who chose to sign waivers to attend school, we still maintain that our child's/children's education is most successful when in person.

In Christ We Stand.

Please keep our school open. The virtual learning has been a problem for us. Uncooperative technology is kicking my son out of his classes and he’s had trouble getting his assignments submitted.

PLEASE consider the significant impact this virtual schooling is having on our children's social, emotional and cognitive development. This should be taken as seriously as the virus!

I am fully supportive of keeping our schools open for in-person education. Their education is MUCH more effective in person. My kids need the interaction and in-class engagement with their teachers. We are aware of the risks but feel LCA has done a wonderful job with the protocols in place. Please keep the school open.

My children need in-person learning for mental and emotional health. We are paying lots of money for them to go to school and have a great education. I feel they are not getting the same education at home and we still have to pay the money. My kids need to be in the classroom around their teachers and friends.

We are still all very Healthy at School agter 3 months. My child needs her routine and friends. It would be very difficult to work and do virtual school, too.

The governor has no authority to shut us down according to my attorney. The health department does. But last check they gave LCA 100% on what they were doing. KEEP US IN SCHOOL

Mandate needs to challenged in court and be overturned. He can easily just ignore a petition unless a certain number of votes triggers a review or legal proceedings
